Frequently Asked Questions
1. How does ICC make its money?
Rather like an insurance broker, ICC makes its money from the suppliers. We do not charge our customers a penny. This is because it is, after all, the supplier that is getting the new business. We have arranged introduction fees with many suppliers that we consider to be leaders in their fields. The customer is able to accept or reject our recommendations as our experience has shown us that if you show someone a genuinely better deal they will generally take it!
2. Do our fees increase your rates?
No, quite the reverse! Due to the fact that we have introduced over ten million pounds worth of business to our chosen suppliers and have millions more in the pipe-line, the suppliers offer our customers rates that are simply not available to most individual users. Therefore you benefit from the huge economies of scale that we have created.
3. Is ICC tied to a particular supplier?
Absolutely not; we have various suppliers in the various categories and we make recommendations based solely on suitability to the particular customer whose case we are considering. There is a healthy degree of competition among our suppliers and we are always open to new suggestions. In fact many prospective suppliers contact ICC on a weekly basis and we give them all the same full and fair hearing.
4. Does the customer have to sign up to lengthy contracts?
No, as is typical in the industry, clients do not have to sign up to long contracts. However, often for excellent rates to be maintained a certain level of volume is expected; this again is standard and can be discussed and agreed with the relevant supplier.
5. Does ICC make its recommendations solely on merit?
Yes. ICC is committed to making the recommendations solely in the best interests of the customer. We believe that due to our unique market intelligence and extensive experience we can dramatically improve any existing courier or cab service in terms of both Quality and Value.
