ICC discovered that many international courier companies, from the largest to the smallest, simply charge the most they think they can get away with, profit margins vary enormously. Many customers are being short changed.

Essentially the vast majority of courier companies use the same airlines to move their consignments. While the integrators (FedEx, DHL, TNT, & UPS) have their own jets these sometimes remain no more than a token gesture as few courier companies can go anywhere near matching the global coverage of the passenger airlines. In fact such is the courier companies' reliance on the passenger airlines, the majority of passenger jets leaving, for example, London Heathrow weigh far more in courier parcels and packages than the actual passengers and their baggage!

This means that many companies from the large integrators to the very small consolidators are often using exactly the same airlines. ICC recognises that all courier company's services can be enhanced by factors such as their IT systems or the commitment and talent of their people, among other things. However, even once a certain service level is achieved, prices can vary widely.

By researching and innovating the market ICC has for one thing, developed a hybrid retail/wholesale solution and is able to offer clients the rates normally only available to courier companies themselves.

SAME-DAY COURIER

Not all same-day courier services are the same! Some have excellent rates and some have excellent rates service, some not so excellent rates etc.

ICC aims to find the best rates within a certain service threshold. This is because when things go wrong, simply going for the cheapest is often a false economy.

ICC has studied all of the suppliers, large and small and found what it considers to be the best same-day courier service. Best in terms of customer service with the majority of its clients remaining for 10+ years.

PASSENGER CARS

A number of clients have asked us to review Passenger Car & Ground Transportation areas. Government licensing of Passenger Cars has meant a great deal of change in this industry. We know who's been taking this licensing most seriously and making the most of it, who are the progressive companies and who can provide excellent service.

For example did you know that it is far cheaper to use an Executive Passenger Car (i.e. Mercedes or the like with suited driver) to take you to the airport than a Black Cab? However Black Cabs are much cheaper for short distances in central London and Black Cabs generally need much less notice.

ICC has innovated a unified solution. This solution involved the creation of a partnership between the best Black Cab company and London's most progressive Executive Passenger Car company. This partnership harnesses advanced and fully integrated IT systems. Thereby creating a ‘one-stop-shop' for the client. Under this system the cost savings can be achieved at no detriment of service. Pre-set parameters define which service is selected and the client is presented with a unified service with all the benefits that entails, e.g. single point of contract, single invoice etc.
